Quail Creek Reservoir holds some of the warmest water in Utah, set against a striking backdrop of red rock ridges and the Pine Valley Mountains. Its calm, protected surface makes it one of the best beginner-friendly paddleboarding and kayaking lakes in the region, and its deep, clear water supports year-round fishing for bass and trout. A lakeside rental concession, campground, and picnic areas make it an easy half-day outing from St. George.
