Six square miles of shifting coral-colored dunes formed from eroded Navajo sandstone, framed by red cliffs and juniper forest at 6,000 feet elevation. The dunes are open to hiking, sandboarding, and off-highway vehicles, with a protected conservation area preserving habitat for the Coral Pink tiger beetle found nowhere else on earth. It sits about 25 minutes from Kanab off US-89.
